The Portland Chapter hopes you can join us for a tour at Cascade Steel Rolling Mills in McMinnville.

For over 50 years, Cascade Steel has been providing the Western U.S. and Canada with high quality steel products produced from recycled scrap metal at their electric arc furnace steel mill. Cascade Steel manufactures steel products such as reinforcing bar (rebar), coiled reinforcing bar, wire rod, and other specialty products. At their state of the art mini-mill they take scrap metal and items that would otherwise be disposed of – old car parts, metal from demolished buildings, to name a few – and recycle them into reusable products.

Join us for the tour at 11 am and stay for lunch if you can!

Please dress in long pants, long sleeves, and thick/closed toe shoes for the tour.  Please see this document for full details on safety and visitor requirements.  All non-Schnitzer employees will need to sign the waiver form which can be sent via Docusign if you prefer.
