The Portland Chapter is thrilled to partner with The Machinists Institute (MI) to bring you an exciting, interactive event designed for members and friends of the industry!

This is your chance to learn how MI is working hard to provide the apprenticeship and incumbent worker training our industry needs. You’ll get an inside look at their Vancouver training facility and even roll up your sleeves for a hands-on project.

🔧 What to Expect:

• An introduction to the Machinists Institute, including their training programs and career tracks
• A tour of MI’s Vancouver training center and details about additional equipment in their mobile training trailer
• A hands-on activity where you’ll work on a pre-machined rhombic dodecahedron project
• Networking opportunities over lunch with fellow professionals

Attendees will be split into two groups — one starting with the orientation, the other diving straight into the hands-on project.
