Leadership is a relationship between those who choose to lead and those who decide to follow. Any discussion of leadership must consider the dynamics of this relationship. Our strategies, tactics, skills and practices are not enough if we don’t consider the fundamental aspirations that connect leaders and individuals. What do individuals expect from their leaders? What purpose will future leaders serve? Which actions will sustain future relationships? We will explore these and other questions as we examine the future relationships of leadership.

Charlie currently works as a Senior Executive Consultant at ArcelorMittal Dofasco. Over the past 30 years, Charlie has worked on designing and implementing many of the development interventions that have assisted in the changes and improvement efforts faced in his organization. His areas of interest and expertise include:

• Team and Leadership Development
• Group Dynamics/ Organizational Behavior
• Diversity and Inclusion

Charlie has focused on the design and delivery of the leadership system across the various functional areas and disciplines within his organization. He is the lead facilitator in the Coaching for High Performance Program a 10- day extended learning program that has him working with all levels of the organization. The program is in its Eighteenth year and continues to be one of the cornerstones in the development of leaders at ArcelorMittal Dofasco.

He is a well-respected practitioner and coach and it sought after both internally and externally. Charlie brings a wealth of knowledge, grass roots experience and a healthy blend of pragmatism and passion to his work.
