Hello AWMI members near and far!

Last year the Florida chapter hosted a very successful book study and live event on presentation skills; this year we are hosting on the topic of Soft Skills / Emotional Intelligence.

From 11:30am to 12pm we will have our book discussion and from 12 to 1pm Carla Cohen will coach on the topic. Here is a little bit about Carla that she shared with me:

As a certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, Brain Profiler, and Assessor, I know that emotional intelligence isn’t a “one-and-done” skill—it’s a muscle that grows with use. I bring that mindset into every session, creating space for practice, reflection, and peer learning.

In addition to my coaching work, I lead a monthly networking event for female entrepreneurs, where I facilitate interactive conversations that build emotional intelligence in real time.

The women leave more confident, self-aware, and ready to take action—and that’s exactly what I’d bring to your group.
