Special Forces Pilot, Tatiana Blanc will speak with the AWMI Detroit Chapter about Leadership Under Pressure on Tuesday, December 8th from 12pm to 1pm.  

Tatiana Blanc is an experienced, proven leader with demonstrated strength in high pressure situations.  She recently served as Aviation Officer in the United States Army, holding the rank of Major and was among the first women to serve in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment leading air missions of national importance as an Air Mission Commander.

Tatiana helped blaze trails for women in the military serving as a Cultural Support Team Leader, an interim program that imbedded women with Special Operations Forces in remote locations in Afghanistan. She piloted the MH-47G Chinook Heavy Assault Helicopter and OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Armed Aerial Reconnaissance Helicopter deploying to Iraq and numerous times to Afghanistan.

Tatiana is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy and holds Master of Science Degree in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science & Technology. She is currently an MBA Candidate at Columbia University.
