AWMI Mid-Atlantic Chapter will be hosting a walking tour in Bethlehem PA on December 13 at 2:00-3:30 PM. Please arrive for 1:45 PM for a 2:00pm prompt start.

We will discover how the early Moravians established the largest concentration of crafts, trades, and industries in the American Colonies and how they used them to become self-sufficient. A costumed guide will lead us through the Colonial Industrial Quarter – America’s first industrial park. The guide will discuss how Bethlehem has morphed throughout the centuries from business center to junk yard to treasured museum site. A few things related to UNESCO will be pointed out on the tour. Although not included in the tour, save some time to see the Bethlehem Steel Stacks and shop at Chriskindlemarkt.
