Creation of New AWMI Chapters
One of AWMI’s strategic goals, or cornerstones, is to Grow. This often refers to personal and professional growth, but also to AWMI’s growth as an organization by adding new chapters.
AWMI’s chapters are entirely volunteer run, and serving on an AWMI chapter board offers immeasurable ways to develop your business skillset while networking with others in the metals industry.
Board positions include Chapter President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Programs Chair, Membership Chair, Publicity Chair, Fundraising Chair, and Newsletter Chair.
New AWMI chapters in their first year are called Provisional Chapters and are assisted by AWMI’s Executive Committee and AWMI Headquarters in the process of becoming a full, or Affiliate, Chapter.
