Kim Weisner is the Midwest Regional Director. She currently works as the Account Manager at Andes Coil Processors. Kim has been a part of AWMI throughout her entire career. She has held many positions while serving on the Chicago board during her 14-year tenure. Kim has served as Volunteer Coordinator, Membership Co-Chair, Programs Co-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Member at Large and Special Projects. Kim has enjoyed every year serving on the Chicago Board and her years as Regional Director.

Amanda Tomsovic is the Midwest Regional Vice Chair. She has worked in the metals industry for over 10 years. Amanda’s career began with ArcelorMittal in flat roll. She continued as a District Sales Manager for Nucor Steel with the Cold Finished Bar group. Currently, she is taking on a new position with the Engineered Bar Group as a Project Lead for their ERP projects. Amanda has been part of AWMI since 2011 serving for both Chicago and Wisconsin Chapter as a Volunteer Coordinator, Membership Co-Chair, Programs Coordinator, Secretary, and Vice chair for the Midwest and Southern Region.
Manager - Customer Service
Kori Beaver was the Customer Service Manager for Cleveland Cliffs managing the End User and Tubular Product groups. Kori holds her MBA from Indiana University and is a graduate from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She joined AWMI as Chicago Chapter’s Programs Co-Chair in 2014, moved on to be their treasurer before joining the Regional Board as the secretary.

Lori Melvin is the General Manager at Andes Coil Processors Midwest. Andes Coil is a toll processor with locations in Gary, IN, Lewisville, TX and Dallas, TX. Lori has been in the steel industry for 24 years beginning with customer service and inside sales. She has gained industry knowledge over the years working with mills and end users in various capacities, as well as coordinating transportation and material management. Lori is a five-year member of AWMI. During her first year, she served as the Chicago Chapter Board Programs Co-Chair and then moved into the Secretary position. This will be Lori’s first year serving on the Midwest Regional Board.
