Kelly Jones
International President
Kelly Jones has worked in various roles both indirectly and directly related to steel for over the past 20 years. Kelly works at Mill Steel Company as Director of Sales, responsible for growing and supplying automotive customers with their ferrous and non-ferrous requirements. Kelly is a member of the Detroit Chapter.
Anna Tompkins
International Vice President
Anna Tompkins is the Vice President of AWMI. She previously served as the International Marketing Chair and as the president of the Baltimore Chapter. She has 20 years’ experience in the metals industry working for Atlantic Recycling Group in a variety of roles, from Scrap Buyer to Vice President. In 2022 ARG was acquired by Sims Metal, with Anna serving as their Mid-Atlantic Commercial Director. She received her B.S in Journalism from West Virginia University. In 2020 she was recognized as AWMI’s Member of the Year. Anna is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
Beth Amundson
International Secretary
Beth Amundson is the International Secretary. Beth has worked in the metal industry since 2004 and has been with Quality Metals since early 2020. Over her years with AWMI she has been the President, Vice President, and Programs Chair of the Minnesota Chapter and the Secretary of the Midwest Region. She heads the Metal Mail and Scholarship Committees and actively participates on the Mentoring committee.
Denise O'Dell
International Treasurer
Denise O'Dell was most recently the Central Region Treasurer & AWMI Cleveland Chapter Past President (2-yrs); President of the Cleveland Chapter (2-yrs), VP (1-yr) and Chapter Treasurer (4-yrs). She has 24 years of experience in sales, purchasing, business development and sales management in the metals & MRO distribution industries. Denise took on the role she currently holds as Business Team Leader for MSC Industrial Supply Co. for the Canton, OH District in 2021.
Mary Wardle
International Past President
Mary Wardle is the International Past President of AWMI. Mary served as International President for two years. Prior to her Presidency she served in three International Board positions and several Regional and Chapter positions including Chapter President for four years. She has been in the steel industry for over 40 years starting in accounting and moving into purchasing/inventory control before moving to her passion of working directly with customers in Customer Service and then to Sales and Sales Management. She is currently Director of Sales for Steelscape, LLC. Mary is a member of the California Chapter.
Marissa McMurray
International Marketing Chair
Marissa McMurray serves as the International Marketing Chair and is an active member of the Pittsburgh Chapter. She has held several leadership positions within the chapter, including President, Vice President, and Programs Chair. Since September 2023, Marissa has been the Regional Communications Manager for the U.S. at Hatch. Before this role, she spent over seven years at SMS group Inc., where she held various marketing and communications positions. Marissa joined AWMI in 2017 and has been a dedicated board member ever since.
Becky Doaln
International Membership Chair
Becky Dolan is the International Membership Chair. She has previously served on the Central Region Board as the Regional Director, Regional Vice-Chair, and Regional Treasurer. She has previously served on the Columbus Chapter board as Newsletter / Publicity Chair, Vice President, President, Past President and Member-at-Large. She has been an AWMI member since 2001. She was chosen as AWMI's Member of the Year in 2021. She retired from InfoSight Corporation in December 2024 after 30 years.
Shawna Livingston
International Mentoring Chair
Shawna J Livingston is serving as International Mentoring Chair. Her previous roles with AWMI include Western Regional (WR) Director, WR Vice Chair and Seattle Chapter President. Her passion for helping people grow personally and professionally led her to become a member of the International Mentoring Committee in 2018. Shawna started as an Administrative Assistant 20 years ago, working her way up through various roles within the metals manufacturing industries including accounting, HR, procurement, OPS and new product development. Currently Shawna works at Raisbeck Engineering as the Director of Operations.
Sarah Moran
International Conference Chair
Sarah Moran is the International Conference Chair. She has been in the metals industry for 28 years and is currently General Manager of Sales for Ryerson Singer. Sarah has been involved with AWMI since 1997. She served on the Chicago Chapter Board as Programs Chair, Marketing Chair and eventually became President in 2002-2003. She briefly served on the International Board as Programs Chair in 2004 and again on the Chicago Board in 2017 in an interim role. She has served on the AWMI International Conference committee since 2022.
Monica Apodaca
International Programs Chair
Monica Apodaca is the International Programs Chair and was previously Director for the Southern Region as well as Past President of the Carolinas Chapter. Monica began her career in the metals industry at ArcelorMittal in 2002 serving in several Sales and Marketing roles. She moved to North Carolina in 2015 as an OEM Account Manager and in August 2016 Monica accepted a position at Carrier where she was Director of Global Strategic Sourcing until August 2023. She was Senior Category Manager for Steel at Trane Technologies in 2024 and is now Director Global Procurement for Steel and Metal Fabrication at Rheem Manufacturing. Monica graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in Public Policy in 2000 and currently resides in Charlotte with her three French Bulldogs.
Angela DiMasso-Henneman
Central Regional Director
Angela DiMasso-Henneman is the Central Regional Director and the Past President of the Columbus Chapter. Her professional experience consists of 26+ years in the Steel Manufacturing field where she has held various positions in manufacturing, operations, product/business development, sales and procurement.
Amanda Ryan
Midwest Regional Director
Amanda Ryan is the Midwest Regional Director. She has worked in the metals industry for over 14 years. Amanda manages the Northern Illinois and Wisconsin territory for National Material Company. Previously, Amanda spent time as Nucor’s ERP Project Lead as well as their District Sales Manager for the Midsouth. Amanda has been part of AWMI since 2011 serving for both Chicago and Wisconsin Chapters as a Volunteer Coordinator, Membership Co-Chair, Programs Coordinator, Secretary, and Vice chair for the Midwest and Southern Region.
Daniela Todaro
Northeast Regional Director
Daniela Todaro is an executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in the metals industry and is currently President of Quality Plates & Profiles Limited. She has a strong track record in strategic vision, P&L management, and team leadership, focusing on business growth and sustainability. A member of AWMI for 10+ years, Daniela has served as Treasurer, Vice-President, and President of the Toronto Chapter. Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, she advocates for inclusive workplace cultures. A certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, she has completed multiple senior leadership programs through Schulich and Harvard Business Schools.
Maureen Horn
Southern Regional Director
Maureen Horn is the Regional Director and
former Vice Chair and Treasurer of the Southern
Region. She has served on the Texas Chapter
Board in various positions and is currently
Past President. Maureen also celebrated her
25 year anniversary as an AWMI member in 2024.
Starting her career in the steel industry in 1999
with IPSCO Tubulars, she has held various
positions in the commercial organization of
IPSCO and TMK IPSCO. After participating in
many IT projects, Maureen began leading
projects and earned her Project Management
Professional (PMP) Certification in 2014.
Maureen is now part of NORMA Group as a
Senior IT Project Manager representing Americas
within the global IT organization.
She resides in Klein, Texas with her husband and
two cats.
Amy Jackson
Western Regional Director
Amy Jackson has been with the AWMI Seattle Chapter since 2015. She has served as Auction Chair, Treasurer and Vice-President, President, Past President and is excited to begin her tenure as Western Region Director. Amy was inducted into the metals industry in 1999 in administrative roles, she has also been involved with shipping & receiving and currently part of the inside sales team at NW Steel and Pipe, Tacoma, Washington a service center supplying carbon steel to the Pacific Northwest.
