Theresa joined Ryerson as a management trainee in 1979 after earning a BA in Business Administration from Lewis University in Illinois. She also completed the MSCI’s Executive Distribution management program at Texas A&M University. She held a series of sales and sales management positions including inside and outside sales and sales and product management roles. In 1994 she was promoted to General Manager of the Ryerson St. Louis service center and then on to Milwaukee as General Manager in 1998. In 2001 she was promoted to Divisional Vice President and then assumed the Vice President of Aluminum and Carbon Alloy Long Products until retiring in February of 2007. Theresa was next named President of Bohler Uddeholm US Tool Steel Division and led the group to significant gains in market share and financial performance into 2010. She is currently Regional Sales Manager for New Jersey based aluminum extruder Aluminum Shapes LLC. She resides in St. Louis with her husband, Bob. They are the proud parents of two adult daughters, Elyse and Lindsay.
Theresa is a founding and continuous 28 year member and past president of the AWMI Chicago Chapter. She has also held AWMI board positions in St. Louis and Milwaukee. Theresa served as committee member of the MSCI Carbon Bar and Tubular Products Divisions and she has also held Chapter board positions with MSCI in Chicago, St. Louis and Milwaukee. She is an invited member of the Executive Club of Chicago.
